2010 Resolutions

  1. Straight A's for PMR
  2. Stay away from the Internet
  3. Behave in school
  4. Forget the albatrosses
  5. Update my NaNoWriMo after PMR
  6. Getting BESTA
  7. Going for public speaking, choral speaking and drama (if possible-debate)
  8. Stop being a bad daughter
  9. Meet everyone's expectations
  10. Living my life

So, that'll be it. Demure. I'll just stick to the first three for half the year and the rest matters later.

Absent is better that Present

It's 2009's final curtain call.
As 2009 fades away and 2010 makes it's appearance, I think about how the Sun and the Moon takes the helm after one another, giving night and day.
While everyone's anticapating 2010, I'm dreading it. I feel as if I'm getting older, weaker and less capable. I'm having sleepless nights thinking about the endurance and patience that I'll need to go through yet another year. Another tough year that I'll be squeezing through living in my very own dobby cocoon. No haute couture, no glam. Just dull and boring period of time spent in front of the white printed papers from books and tiring off my mind power memorising facts. Some made it through, some dreaded, but didn't gave in. So, I'll just keep drumming in these words. "If they can, I can too".
If they can, I can too.
If they can, I can to-
If they can, I-
If they can-
If they-
Fail, I know. *fidgets*

Half the apple

See, recently, I went to KL, UNEXPECTEDLY. Turns out my luck stroke a lucky notch. We kinda won something from TMNet. It was supposed to be a go-take-and-come-back-home trip but due to my pampering, we decided to put up there for a night. I found out that KL was getting more and more suffocating and sandwich-ed. People are flooding the capital city. Modern techs are unable to withstand the mass any longer. And the malls, Argherama.. I could drool looking at it for an eternity. Who knows how long an eternity is? Anyway half of an apple was supposed to be getting a new outfit (many occasions await me..) and the other half was for addition of my book collection. Sadly, I was unable to accomplish that. Time was depleting and we had insufficient stock of it. Time is gold.

I lived once and died twice.

I'm really missing the camp. I'm lamenting the noise participants always make. Mr. Kunna's lecture and anecdotes, the every night party and mostly the friends I made plus it's intriguing activities..

:(

Oh Mah Goat!

I never thought I would hear this coming out of my mouth but I have to say it or I'm gonna burst out. The camp was awesome, dude. I don't mean "yeah, nice" awesome. It was "Gosh, I need to have that" awesome. My book of friends has added its pages drastically. Thai friends too, I tell you. And they proved to be extremely, unbelievably friendly. Talk about a Thai friend who is equally fond of Harry Potter as you. That's was not a mere flash in the pan. Though, they were a little hard to communicate. You had to use a little too many finger expressions to comprehend them on what we are trying to say. Some even had dictionaries in their hands. The activities, God, were mind-blowing. there were canoeing, jungle trekking, jungle rescue, traditional games and treasure hunt. The performances were eesshh, so good I tell you. Well, of course, some were quite less entertaining (us was definitely disappointing) but, who cares. At least, they had the courage and guts to go onstage and entertain. Oh-oh, there was this Chinese group from Sin Min Private that blew the hall into pieces with their break dance. I wanted to jump in and dance but can you imagine the benefit? Not me. I could only see the drawbacks. Anyway, Goh Pek Hwa was so good in the Indian dance and Khoo was pretty cool in challenging the younger guys in the break dance.

My Book of Friends

  • Mt. EE
  • Man Ying
  • Man Yeng
  • Pei Ying
  • Wei Ting
  • Desmond
  • Chaeng
  • Oon
  • Chu
  • Athikah
  • Puveneswary
  • Another two indians that I had no chance to ask their minds..

Insomnia and I need Vit. B

Gosh, I found it literally hard to sleep yesterday. Too many thoughts were buzzing in my damn head. It felt like a bee cage filled with, of course bees of million amounts colliding with my feeble skull every single nanosecond. The air-cond was ON (as if we could sleep without that) but I was sweating from head to toe. I was almost going to shackle out my clothes and splay on the bed naked but after a second thought, I decided it was safe NOT TO. So I shifted here and there and poor me, no sleep.

Dear sleep, descend.
~

Dear sleep, embrace me.
burrp~

Huh. Nada. So I let myself wonder. Wonder almost everything. PMR, exams. studying, school, cliques, friends. Unending I tell you. Somehow, I dozed off and found getting up early the next morning for school extremely hard.

Update On Camping

Jolly McGolly. There's a good news, people. Apparently, the camping associate turned out to be dad's close friend. Dad called him up and did some 'talking'.

The camping is going to be exciting. And don't you worry about your daughter. Any problem, ask her to come to me.

So, seems like I have an ally there. Horrah for me. It's like killing a million birds with one stone.

Ps: "And uh, dad, you forgot to ask him how bathrooms are there".

Always Another Hand

have another idol. And the Indian actor that I held over my head on the previous post? Surya? He’s done. I watched a movie called THE COVENANT and it rocked my shoes off. Guess what? Chase Crawford was there too. He had not the charm he has now in Gossip Girls. But it was not he whom I refer to in this post. Lo and Behold, the twin of Taylor Lautner, Steve Strait. He had those chins to die for and broad shoulder that I ached to hug and a six pack. Sarah must be one lucky girl. This movies were like vampirism too, it’s just that it wasn’t. I don’t think that sentence really makes sense. Okay, it had the likelihood of Twilight but it was purely based on Paganism or should I say Witchism. Caleb and his three other buddies inherit powers that was some sort of witchcraft. They were the last four Sons of Ipswich, or that’s what they thought until another appears from nowhere, the fifth descendant who was born outside their community. The fifth one, Chase Goody Pope came approached Caleb for his irrefutably unusual powers. Amongst the warlocks, it is known that they had first sensed their powers when they were thirteen and will ascend once eighteen. Ascending is when they are known to be adult warlocks and their power gain momentum. Some might undergo the ascending process but some might not as the process is a thousand fold painful and overwhelmingly seductive. Chase was addicted to using his powers and hungered for more. Caleb defeated Chase when his father, who was one of those that failed to undergo the Ascending process, gave his powers to his son. And of course, Sarah, Caleb’s girlfriend was used as a bait to get to Caleb. That was her role aside snogging Caleb and stripping with him at Nicky’s. She also had bad dreams about spiders and stuff. Overall, she did had a little hooked up with the four warlocks. Girlfriend? Sigh Like Bella. Twilight twin you think? Anyway, I like him. Sooo much, undeniably. So move away Robert Pattinson. I thing I’m having a hard time deciding over Taylor Lautner and Steve Strait. I’m off to wring my head buddies.

Heebies-jeebies

I am having one of those feelings again. Have I told you I’m going for a camping session associating with the St. John’s Committee? Oh yeah, this might be the millionth time. I forgot(*chuckles*). I haven’t packed my things yet and Shepherd of Judea, I haven’t even collected my self for that upcoming event. Thinking about it already gives me butterflies in the belly, talk about getting ready. Though, I have to be gracious that our preparation for the Indian dance is in the brink of end. It’ll finish in a matter of time(don’t worry mister Kunna Segaran). We have it all turning out fine. But I can’t really assure you how its goin’ ta’ be onstage, in front of a sea of students form Pahang, Penang, Alor Star and Thailand. That spans another whole lot of story. I’ll just leave it in the realms of suspense for a while. Don’t wanna burst the bubble, do we. I’m bringing lots and lots and lots of Maggie in the Cup. Nah, I don’t care even if there’s MSG. It’s better than eating raw food; which I heard to be stored. I even heard rumors that there be three-hours of lecture (on and on or what, I don’t know). That plants a question in my mind whether my ever-throbbing back will leave me alone. Sitting on my dining table and writing this now, is one epitome of times when the excruciating pain strikes. All I can hope for is clean bathrooms (please God, gimme that and I’ll shut up. Screw the dimes), non-creepy bunk-beds and lenient trainers (I swear to be a goody-shoe trainee). And um, if the lecture hours could be pruned to a single hour, I will much appreciate it. And aforesaid, butterflies and doing somersaults again!
